When you are feeling drained and have no energy, find a place, a quiet place where you can rest. Take this time to dream, relax, renew your energy.

Come on in, and spend some "Quiet Time" with me.

Take this time to do something good for yourself.

It should be something fun to you, something simple.

If weather permits, take your weary body out into the fresh air, connect with nature, walk barefoot in the grass and look into the sky.

Breath, slow, deep, breaths, filling your lungs, then slowly, release it. Now, look at the flowers. Notice each petal, the color of them, the shape they are. Listen to the birds, and feel the beauty that surrounds you. Can you see the beauty? Can you feel it?

You could rest in an easy chair, or lounger. Read a good book, or get out a little trowel and turn the dirt, pull up some weeds.

Fix your favorite drink. Sip it slowly, taking in the flavor of it, taking in the pleasure the taste gives you.

Relax...........

Find what works for you, it may be something more active, like a brisk walk, even a run in the park. As long as it soothes your soul, and gives you pleasure.

Morning time is always good for reading something inspirational, for example, some positive quotes.

Maybe you don't like to read, you could flip through some magazines, write a letter that is long overdue, write in your journal, or just sip on some herbal tea, and listen to the silence. Whatever you choose to do, give yourself at least 30 minutes of time to yourself.

It's good to do some deep breathing at this time to fill your lungs with oxygen, and relax your mind and body. Tell yourself, "I am important to me, and I deserve some time for me alone. I have a whole glorious day ahead of me."
